Though, marketing is where you need to focus your efforts, consistently review upcoming trends, and re-invent.
Web marketing is about developing powerful communication strategies using all of the popular social/niche media channels to drive traffic and generate qualified leads. It can include a social media marketing program, search engine optimization, research, integration … even how your business seems to appear and be marketed on LinkedIn.

I just read this article about “9 Ways to Replace Your Bad Habits With Good Ones” and point 6 caught my eye! It is about being aware of your vulnerable times. Is it early in the morning or after a long day at work (when you’re emotionally, physically, or cognitively exhausted) that you feel like your decision-making isn’t the sharpest?
The article reads: “research shows that your willpower reserves are depleted—you just don’t have enough to refrain from snappy statements. When you know you’ll be tired or when you find you’re worn out, put in a structure to support yourself.” This same principle can be applied to your business.

Have a "LinkedIn Day" at Your Office

What do your employees’ social media profiles say about you and your company? Are your employees’ LinkedIn profiles blank or do they have detailed keywords about your industry included in their profile summary?
LinkedIn isn't just for professionals and job seekers. Millions of professionals use LinkedIn several times a day to grow their networks, their careers, and their business. From making connections to generating leads, establishing partnerships and creating better brand awareness, LinkedIn makes an invaluable addition to your digital marketing strategy.
Tip: Have a “LinkedIn Day” for your next office luncheon. Get a professional to come in and explain the value of LinkedIn, your online presence, and how your employees can update their LinkedIn profile, summary, and photo to give the very best impression!
1. Give a face to your employees. If your company page on LinkedIn only shows 3 profiles, but you have 12 employees, you are missing an opportunity to 1) have potential clients connect with and read about your amazing company and employees and 2) to add keywords on employees’ profiles to increase your SEO and awareness in searches.
2. Get as many of your employees as possible to create and complete their profiles on LinkedIn.
3. Include appropriate photos, relevant job history that includes a description of how they help your business, and professional connections.

Internet Marketing: More than a Numbers Game

Sometimes in the world of social media, it's easy to get caught up in the idea that a greater following equals greater success for your business. So many people focus on "getting the numbers up" - increasing Twitter follower numbers, Facebook fans, YouTube channel subscribers, and so forth. However, there may be a sobering wake-up call if you manage to get your following to snowball somewhat, but aren't managing to convert those followers into customers. As so many social media marketers can tell you, just getting the following isn't enough - those numbers don't mean anything unless you can also engage with your audience in an effective way.
